Crimson Catz Privacy Statement and Terms & Conditions. 

This privacy policy sets out how Crimson Catz uses and protects any information that you give us when you use this website.  We are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.  We may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes.

This policy is effective from 28/06/2009.  
We are now complying with the new GDPR 2018 rules and regulations and have clearly set out how this affects us and 'you' our client. This will become fully functional from the 25th May 2018.  When signing up to our newsletter, you will need to sign up via the 'home page' of the crimsoncatz.com website. Should we be in communication with you via email or over the phone, you will need to email catz@crimsoncatz.com with your email address, first-name and surname and permission for us to add you to the newsletter database. Our newsletter also has an opt out/unsubscribe option which has been there since we started in 2009 and is still applicable should you change your mind.    

Health questionnaires which hold your data will only be used when you, 'our client' are taking part in the required treatment or physical activity hosted by Crimson Catz. Data on paper and on any form of peripherals not shared with any third party and is secured safely via a fireproof safe and also via password protection.    

Your access to your data: You have the right to your own data - what we hold and how we use it. To obtain this information, please email catz@crimsoncatz.com and please allow 14 days for your result which will come in a simple word document format via email or via post depending on how you have contacted us.  You will then have a choice whether you wish for us to delete your information and if on paper, to do this securely.  We do not charge for this service, however, should your request not be within the time mentioned, but earlier, then we will be allowed to charge accordingly. Again, you will need to email catz@crimsoncatz.com or write to "Crimson Catz, 15 Lonsdale Close, Luton, Beds England. LU3 2ND" in terms of deleting or correcting your information. If you feel that we're not being fair, you can contact the ico office via https://ico.org.uk    So how do you know that we have your data? You will have been contacted before the 25th May 2018 if you receive our newsletters and we would have asked you to either unsubscribe or email us to keep yourself on our mailing list - otherwise we will delete your information securely.    

If you have had any therapies or fitness sessions before May 25th 2018, it would mean that we will still hold your data. Every completed form has been consented by you via your signature and printed name.  Should you no longer wish to have therapies or fitness sessions with us and would like us to destroy your data effectively, - please refer to paragraph, 'Your access to your data'.    

Social prescription clients, please be aware that your information is shared with the navigators you have been referred to. The information will only ever include your initials and NOT your full name and again, all information is kept securely as mentioned above. The organisation involved will also be required to follow GDPR 2018 rules and regulations.  

We do not hold, nor do we collect your online payment details. However, in terms of our coaching programmes, the 'agreement' form will require your card details, but this will not be held by 'Stripe' or 'Square' which is the payment processor we will be using, so we will not be held accountable for anything that goes wrong on their side of business. What we collect.  We may collect the following information:  name and job title  contact information including email address  demographic information such as postcode, preferences and interests  Crimson Catz other information relevant to customer surveys and/or offers  What we do with the information we gather.  We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:  Internal record keeping.
 
We may use the information to improve our products and services.  We may periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided.  From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes.

We may contact you by email, phone, or mail. We may use the information to customise the website according to your interests.  Your details will never be passed onto a third party without your permission and as mentioned, your data will never be sold on.   Security.  We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Terms & Conditions

Content - All content including pictures, designs, logos, photographs, text written and other materials on this Website are owned, controlled or licensed to the Supplier. They are protected by copyright, trademarks and other intellectual property rights. Unauthorised use of this content is prohibited.

Promotions - Any promotions can be withdrawn at any time in line with management discretion. Multiple promotional codes will not be accepted at any one time, nor alongside block bookings which are already on promotion. All clients undertaking treatments using dye e.g. lash and brow treatments must take a skin test 48hrs prior to the appointment.

Cancellations
- The following fees will apply to late cancellations: A cancellation fee of 50% of the cost of the treatments will be incurred for less than 48hrs notice unless the appointment is re-booked with us within 2 weeks of the original appointment. Home visits no longer take place, so please don't request for this to happen.
No shows void the appointment and therefore the session will count as 'taken' without a refund. Cancellation on the day due to bereavement of immediate family- a new appt will be arranged, other reasons will forfeit that appointment. Payment can either be in cash or online banking - receipts will always be given. Should I need to cancel, then I will let you know in good time and rearrange the appointment with you. Sessions are delivered once a week for various therapies, unless otherwise stated and block booked massage sessions are taken in a two month period unless otherwise stated.

Changes - Any change to opening times, promotions and events held by Crimson Catz is by the owner's discretion.
Consultations - Within your consultation, we will ask you 'the client' to sign a disclaimer prior to the treatment, if the treatment can't go ahead, we will re-book if applicable and ask you to bring in a note from your doctor or specialist before we carry out the treatment. This information will be filed with your treatment record card.
Wellbeing - Please consult your doctor before participating in any Crimson Catz fitness class. We reserve the right to: refuse to accept any candidate we believe to be unsuitable for the programme. ask for a doctor's note from clients before participating in the programme.

Payments - Cash payments only on the premises, If preferred, bank transfers are acceptable prior to treatments, we will pass you the details when relevant. You can also pay online if you are using the scheduler.
Links - These terms and conditions only cover this Website. Any links within this Website to other websites are not covered by this policy and we accept no responsibility nor liability for the content of websites which are not under our control.

Products - We know you won't be disappointed, but due to hygiene reasons we cannot exchange tools, earrings or cosmetics. Please ensure that you know exactly what you wish to buy before purchasing your items online, in the salon or workshop. Workshops & Courses.

Payments  - 
Monies, need to be paid in advance; we accept online payment, including via the scheduler. Attendance – Please turn up to any event at least 15 minutes before we start.

Cancellation -  Failure to show up at any paid workshop session will mean that you will forfeit your payment.

Refreshments  - We will have fruit juice or water available to you during the day, however, please do bring in a soft drink top up and your lunch.
