From past to present, when and why I became a professional declutterer, the findings when I started to declutter my home and business.

Why I became a Professional Spiritual Wellness Declutterer and Feng Shui Consultant.

Over the years I always did a clear out every few months, just the same as anyone else would, but there was a difference, I enjoyed it. I would hear most people moan about it, probably because they had to put the effort in and also found it overwhelming!

I never thought of it as a profession, and I would get comments from friends and family as to how ruthless and yet disciplined I was when doing the task in hand. It wasn't really a challenge until 2016, this is where I found myself in a toxic situation and I was told I could stay in this toxic environment or leave, and if I did leave I would have to take everything within a few days, well just under 5 days to be precise.

This was the REAL challenge. I had over a decade's worth of stuff to bin, give away, sell or donate to charity and the rest would have to go into storage. My twin sis (also my business partner) helped me over a weekend and I worked around my work schedule and got it all done, yes I had to be ruthless, I gave loads away to charity and helped others who needed things I had no use for.

What did this mean for me? Not only did I sort my stuff out, it also cleared my mind and body, the feeling of lightness, the feeling of fresh new beginnings and gaining better health and wellness was on it's way.

Over time I focussed on different things in our business, as a fitness professional, I taught classes for over 3 decades, I'm a Menopause Consultant and Spiritual Wellness Master Coach. It dawned on me, what I was doing as a declutterer was also helping me and others on a Spiritual level so I decided to train as one therefore, qualifying as a Professional Declutterer.

There was something missing though. I felt after decluttering there needed to be an add-on to complete the journey and to attract more abundance and prosperity. Decluttering ensures there's fresh new energy coming into the home or business, I just felt I needed to enhance that even more!

I held a 7 day decluttering challenge in July 2022, where I had quite a few fabulous ladies sign up. At the same time I joined in with them by have the task of decluttering our parent's shed which used to be called a 'Summer house'. Over the decades it ended up being used as storage space and especially after our dad passed away. Our youngest brother gave me a hand, he even said if I wasn't here to help he wouldn't know where to start, he also felt overwhelmed by it all.

There was over 3 decades worth of stuff and it took us 3 and a half weekends to clear it all out and clean the shed afterwards. I even apologised to the shed for it being in this state. Remember, everything is energy and if energy is stagnate, you won't attract any postive changes.

While clearing through all the boxes, I came across a smaller, heavier box and there I saw all of my other crystals I had collected when I was about 15 years old and also my Feng Shui Bagua map, compass, coloured cloth, tarot cards and my rune stones...the penny had dropped!

I had been using the art of Feng Shui for many years, incoporating the Bagua map, however, the drama in my life had got in the way of it. I sat there and looked through all of my books, collectables, Feng Shui folder and I knew I had to implement this as the add-on to the decluttering process. It all made sense!

I decided to do a professional qualification in it just to back me up and also learnt about the 8 House and Flying Stars Feng Shui. I also dowsed back then, either with a pendulum or my brass rods. Mostly field dowsing, finding drain pipes underground so no-one would dig in the wrong place and even for metals and any negative anergy, so I would then turn it into a 'positive' area.

With all of my expertise and experience, along with being qualified and trained in more areas, I felt it was time to share my lightwork with those who need it in their life and so I now work as a Professional Declutterer and Feng Shui Consultant, Helping you attract abundance and prosperity while harmonising your mind, body, business and home!
